
Opening this May at 78a Pirie Street in Adelaide’s CBD, Bar Bar is the newest venue from Cantina Group, the team behind Jennie, Malt & Juniper, and Alfred’s. Known for delivering creative drinking experiences across the city, the group’s latest concept focuses on agave spirits and a carefully curated cocktail menu.
Taking over the former Chicken & Pig site, Bar Bar is built around a 15-seat horseshoe bar designed to spark conversation and connection. Bar Bar will be an intimate space that feels more like a familar cellar than a typical venue.
The drinks are pre-batched, highlighting favourites like the two-sip Freezer Door Martini, a spicy Margarita, an Oaxaca Old Fashioned made with tequila and mezcal, and a twist on the classic ice-cream spider.
Bar Bar’s inspiration draws on the casual charm of European small bars, blending well-crafted drinks with a welcoming atmosphere.
