Melbourne’s pub scene has just introduced a major player with the arrival of Quarterhouse. The new three-level venue has officially opened its doors this week, blending pub warmth with skyline views.

Situated next to Southern Cross Station, and in the heart of the Melbourne quarter precinct, the space holds a capacity of up to 1,400 patrons with all three floors presenting something different.

The ground floor features a pub atmosphere with banquettes, booth seating, street dining, and a 4-metre LED screen showcasing live sport – while level one stands as a private function area holding up to 240 guests.

Additionally, the venue is complete with a rooftop bar and wrap around terrace, offering cocktails and share plates, overlooking Melbourne’s city-scape and opening out onto the new inner-city Sky Park.

With entertainment at the forefront of the venues offerings, patrons can enjoy free games of pool on Mondays, and acoustic sets and DJs from Thursdays to Sundays.

Venue Manager Luke Bottoms said the area long needed a social hub with this kind of energy.
“Quarterhouse is exactly what this part of the CBD has been missing. It’s casual, full of character, and offers something for every kind of patron – plus our rooftop overlooking the Sky Park brings something truly unique to the table,” said Bottoms.
