Bar Allora opens on Bond Street – marking first collaboration between Accor’s Table For and The Maybe Group

Bar Allora officially opens tomorrow on Bond Street, introducing an all-day Italian bar and restaurant inspired by 1980s Milan. The venue is the first joint project between Table For, Accor’s new food and beverage group, and The Maybe Group.

The space is designed to move through the day: espressos from the street-facing window, a full lunch offering through the afternoon, and aperitivo and dinner into the night. The fit-out pays homage to Milan’s late-20th-century era, with terrazzo, mirrored brass, and neon finishes.

The bar focuses on aperitivo-style cocktails, including the Americaniello with Campari, Oscar Rosso Vermouth, lemon myrtle liqueur, and mango soda – while the Allora Negroni features gin, Campari, Oloroso Sherry, pandan, and pineapple. Late-night additions include a pistachio grasshopper and brandy shakerato, alongside Italian sodas and a concise local and imported wine list.

Co-Founder and Director of The Maybe Group Vince Lombardo says, they wanted to return to their roots with a true Italian experience.

“Bar Allora captures the energy, culture and connection at the heart of Italian hospitality, authentic flavours delivered with a joyful, modern twist. Every detail has been designed to feel vibrant, welcoming and unmistakably Italian,” said Lombardo.

The kitchen is led by Table For’s Culinary Director, Chef Rosy Scatigna, alongside Head Chef Josh Donachie. The menu draws on Milan’s post-war dining period, influenced by southern Italian migration. Breakfast includes paninis and dishes such as the Allora Frittata with burrata and salsa verde. The all-day menu features spaghettone with anchovy butter and lemon pangrattato, and wagyu tagliata with rocket salsa verde – while evening plates offers dishes such as the stuffed eggplant fritti, rosetta alla mortadella and baked ricotta, followed by desserts such as crema al caffè and a boozy sorbet.

Bar Allora is the first of several Table For openings this summer, with upcoming venues including El Vista at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour and Flaminia.

“We’re thrilled to launch Bar Allora in partnership with The Maybe Group,” says Ben Creek, Head of Table For. “This collaboration represents the future of Table For – visionary hospitality partners creating culturally relevant, beautifully executed, guest-led experiences. Bar Allora is just the beginning.”
