This bar is bringing a taste of Latin American street food, with an Asian influence, to the busy Bondi bubble.
There’s no shortage of ace options for eating and drinking in Bondi, but this bar, from owners Raul Gonzales, Shane Moran, Nathan Joliffe and Ryan Ginns is carving out its own niche.
They invited Quynh Nguyen (ex-China Diner) to consult on their cocktail menu, so you know the drinks have had thought put into them, and the food is the work of chef Alejandro Franco Lancini, who has drawn on his Venezuelan heritage in crafting the menu.
The first Sunday of every month also sees the venue offering Rum Cha — think Chinese yum cha via South America, and a whole lot of rum drinks.
