The owners of Freddie Wimples have taken over the site of the George Hotel in in St Kilda, and thrown open the doors to a new craft beer destination.
They’ve got 13 rotating taps and a food menu centred around sub sandwiches, hot dogs and all things pickled.
If beer’s not your thing, though, they’ve got you covered in the strong spirit department: they’ve got plans to stock some 180 spirits, and general manager and head bartender Scott McKay has put in place a cocktail list that draws on the classics that have been given a twist.
The bar is named for the George Hotel’s first owner, and is kitted out in what we’d like to call hunting lodge chic — get a look at the place below.
