
Sydney’s Goros, is turning 11, and to celebrate the Surry Hills venue will transform into a Konbini-style space, from 5 November to 6 December – celebrating Japanese convenience culture with a month of neon lights, games, immersive photo ops, and surprise giveaways.
The headline event on 7 November promises well priced Kirin Hyoketsu schooners, Hyoketsu Slushies, DJs, dancing, and celebration.
The drinks list is shaken up with sake, yuzu, and cold brews for a caffeinated kick. Expect playful curations like the Mando Sando, Roba Soda, and the Pocari Pine Slushie.
The food offerings include a Konbini-inspired menu featuring: Tuna Onigiri, Yakisoba-Pan, and Bento Boxes packed with Karaage, Pork Katsu, or Teriyaki Tofu, and to finish it off the strawberry sando makes its debut.
Throughout the takeover, every ordered Hyoketsu slushie comes with a scratch card, giving patrons a shot at instant prizes and mystery surprises along the way.
