Bars around the country have taken up the mantle of women in leadership and they are hosting events to promote this idea and also support various women’s charities at the same time. Here are just a few of the events that are happening around the country over the next few days.
The Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards for 2021 are underway. Voting is now open and we really want you to get involved. These awards are determined by your votes, so we want you to have your say. Voting closes 31 May (11.59PM AEST) so tell your staff and your hospo friends.
What would you do if you won a $20,000 grant? How would you boost your local community? Bartenders Orion Leppan Taylor and Mitch Bloomfield know what they would do — and they’re doing it. Last year the duo entered the IDEA LAB, by The Blend, winning a $20,000 grant to establish their dream The Cocktail Lab.
BACARDÍ’s annual Bartender Softball competitions are in the calendar and touring to major cities around the country in the coming months.
