Speed Rack takes off this Sunday

The first state round is in Sydney, this Sunday, 1 June, at Now & Then in the CBD.

Hosted by William Grant & Sons, the competition was launched in 2011 in the US to celebrate women and femme-identifying bartenders. Since then, it has grown to become a cornerstone of professional development and advocacy for female hospitality professionals.

William Grant & Sons Australia head of Marketing, Jonathan Sully, said Speed Rack has always been about more than making cocktails quickly.

“This competition isn’t just about making drinks fast; it’s about elevating female professionals who are shaping the future of the bar scene. Bringing Speed Rack to Australia is part of William Grant & Sons ongoing commitment to inclusion, celebration of talent, and supporting a worthy cause.

“It will be great to see the industry get behind the competition by coming along to the events,” Sully said.
