Take a look inside Martin Lange’s new bar Death & Taxes (and check the killer menu)
Award-winning Brisbane bartender and bar operator, Martin Lange, has added another bar to his stable of venues which includes Cobbler, in Brisbane’s West End, and Savile Row and Finney Isles in Fortitude Valley.
He opened the doors to his new Brisbane bar, Death & Taxes, late last week, and we’ve got some images — and a look at the killer new cocktail menu — here.
Death & Taxes is located on the historic Burnett Lane in Brisbane’s CBD and will be joined later this the month by Alba Bar & Deli, the first bar from bartender Jamie Fleming (click here to find out what’s in store).
Lange’s latest is a cocktail-driven bar, and he’s brought on board Samuel Tripet (who has worked for Lange in a number of venues) to oversee day to day operations.
It is Tripet who is behind the drinks on the cocktail list, which Lange has put together with a distinctly — and aptly — death-inspired design.

Death & Taxes is located at 36 Burnett Lane, and they’re open seven days from 3pm closing at 2am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and midnight the rest of the week.
