Following the success of Attaboy’s Australian tour with the William Grant & Sons team in January, multi-award-winning bartender and bar owner Ryan Chetiyawardana—aka Mr Lyan (Lyaness, Super Lyan, Silver Lyan, Seed Library)—will be jumping behind the stick across the East Coast at the end of April.
Seminars and bar takeovers will be taking place from Tuesday 23rd of April, kicking off in Sydney, with Ryan hosting an industry seminar on the Art of Storytelling at the Glenfiddich pop-up at ART AID on George Street, before teaming up with the Caretaker’s Cottage crew at hospo favourite Earl’s Juke Joint for the night.
Brisbane will play host to the second event on Wednesday, 24th April, with an industry seminar followed by Ryan shaking up some delicious bangers with the awesome crew at the Gresham. To round off the week, Ryan will head down to Melbourne for a double whammy takeover at the Cottage itself (Sunday, 28th & Monday, 29th) and a seminar held at The Elk Room (Monday, 29th).
We recommend getting down early for the takeovers, as drinks will only be available until sold out.
