Robertos at the newly revamped Bangor Tavern is redefining what the local pub can be. Recently opened this April, Robertos blends vibrant Italian energy with familiar pub favourites.
Robertos is the latest venture from Adam and Kylie Micola, the duo behind Bobbys Cronulla. Set in a light-filled, alfresco-focused space, this reimagined pub is delivering big on flavour and atmosphere.
The cocktail list leans into Italian spritz culture, with fruit-forward serves built around Limoncello, Campari, Aperol, and seasonal citrus. For groups, jugs of signature cocktails offer a fun, easy-drinking option.
The wine list, curated by respected Sydney operator Alex Cameron (Table Manners, ex-Franca, Parlar, Armorica), brings a thoughtful but relaxed approach, a tight list of Australian drops with a few international gems like the Cantina Di Negrar Pinot Grigio and a punchy Eden Valley Riesling from Dead Man Walking. Local craft beers alongside a rotating ‘Beer of the Month showcasing independent breweries are also available for selection.
Designed by interior studio Tom Mark Henry, the space presents Mediterranean tones and textures with a modern feel – terracotta, soft neutrals and tiled finishes wrap around a mix of open-air and indoor spaces.
The menu, developed by the Bobbys team, keeps things approachable but elevated –grilled octopus with nduja vinaigrette, pappardelle with beef shin ragù, and pub classics like chicken schnitzel and parmigiana. There’s even a gelato cart for that perfect sweet finish.
Robertos is open seven days from 11am till late.
