From 5–8 November, Suntory BOSS Coffee is shaking things up at Prefecture 48, taking Japan’s cult canned coffee into the cocktail world.
In true BOSS fashion, the activation comes with a cheeky challenge: bring your boss. Anyone who can flash proof of a recent promotion scores a free coffee cocktail on arrival – a reward for climbing the ladder in any industry.
The pop-up menu heroes four caffeinated creations, each available in both spirited and spirit-free versions, blending Japan’s favourite coffee with Suntory’s best-loved pours.
First up, the Coffee Colada – a tiki-style serve mixing Suntory BOSS Coffee Iced Latte, Maker’s Mark, pineapple juice, and Crawley’s Orgeat Syrup. Then there’s the Peatland Express, a smoky Old-Fashioned riff that layers Suntory BOSS Coffee Iced Mocha with Laphroaig 10, spiced miso honey, and honeycomb.
The Irish BOSS takes the classic Irish coffee for a Japanese spin, combining Suntory BOSS Coffee Iced Long Black with Suntory Toki Whisky, hojicha tea and a rich hojicha cream – you can even have your face printed on top when ordering this cocktail. Rounding out the lineup is the Japanese Cola, a Batanga-style number featuring Suntory BOSS Coffee Iced Double Espresso, Haku Vodka, Amaro Nonino, cola and lime.
From 5pm till late, this takeover marks one of the last chances to experience Suntory Bar before its three-month residency wraps up.
