Five teams from across Australia flew in for the finals at El Primo Sanchez, Paddington. The night saw some of Australia’s finest bartenders cheering each other on, sipping Teremana serves, and celebrating the spirit of hospitality. Competitors brought the energy, the vibe, the hype, and the positive mana, with Campbell Nicol and Jack Turner from Rude Boy, Hobart taking out first place and a crispy $3000.
Founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Teremana has quickly found its place behind the bar in Australia. The award-winning tequila is made at its own Destileria Teremana de Agave distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, in collaboration with third-generation agave growers and second-generation tequila makers, the Lopez family. It is made using 100% mature Blue Weber Agave that is roasted in small, traditional brick ovens for over 72 hours prior to distillation in 100 per cent handmade copper pot stills.
Positive mana is at the heart of everything that is done at Teremana, and the Teremana Tandem was built on that very spirit – sharing good energy, bringing bartenders together, and celebrating those who do things the right way.
