These are the 2022 best rum bars in Australia as voted by you – the Australian bar industry. These bars are all about stocking the best range of rums, serving up delicious rum cocktails, often times with a bit of tiki flair.
There are so many gins on the market these days and what better way to sample them than to visit one of the country’s leading gin bars. At each of these 12 finalist bars, you’ll find a carefully curated gin selection and gin cocktails to match.
This award pays tribute to someone who has made a marked difference to the bar industry through their passion and dedication, and who has had an outsized, positive effect on the industry. This year’s recipient is Martin Lange, a Brisbane bar operator who has been in the hospitality industry for more than two decades.

The Top 20 — including the number 1 Most Influential — will be announced at the exclusive Most Influential List Party during Sydney Bar Week on September 5th at Hickson House Distilling Co in The Rocks.
This one is from Jacob Goss, the operator of The Rum Diary bars in both Melbourne and Newcastle. He’s been hosting these events for a while now, and we’re lucky that he is bringing it to Sydney for Sydney Bar Week thanks to Bacardi and De Kuyper and our good friends at The Lobo.
