We like burgers. We like booze. So it doesn’t take much for us to do the math and conclude we like Big Bopper Burgers.
This new venue in the Perth CBD comes from Andy Freeman and the Sneakers & Jeans group, who own The Flour Factory, Varnish on King, and Hadiqa in Perth (to name just a few).
The twin attractions are the burgers (of course), and the drinks, in particular the boozy milkshakes — they had us at the Grasshopper (Fernet-Branca, creme de menthe, vanilla, white chocolate).
There’s also a short and sharp cocktail list with an emphasis on fun; there is no way one can partake in a Banane-rac (Tempus Fugit Banane, rye, absinthe), their good times take on the Sazerac, and end up taking themselves too seriously.
It’s the little things in life, no?
