What a time to be alive in Perth! The final phase of Pirate Life Perth has recently opened two new venues within the hospitality precinct in a Perth Partnership with the award-winning hospitality group, Sneakers & Jeans (S&J).

The four-year planning behind the venue has finally come to life post-pandemic to act as a breath of fresh air for the west-end of the Perth CBD.

CRUSH is the space located at the rear of the precinct, boasting light, bright and breezy Cali/Mex meets Palm Springs inspired space. Artsy 60s and 70s inspired furnishings adorn the sprawling space, with retro-modern floor and wall tiles reminiscent of Californian beach days, perfecting complimenting the very Instagrammable, colourful and fruity drinks being served.

The multi-story precinct is the biggest project that S&J CEO Andy Freeman has taken on and was designed with customers in mind. Not only are punters excited, but in a struggling climate with widespread labour shortages, S&J’s recruitment efforts received over 150+ strong applications.

In true Freeman style, Perth can expect a brewery… and then some. “It was never going to be just a brewery, that’s not the S&J or Pirate Life way” says Freeman.

‘honey’ on the other hand, showcases an impressive ten-metre long cocktail bar, where darker spirits play hero. The cocktails have a strong rum focus with tropical (and again Instagrammable) classics, with a dozen tap beers presenting the very best of the brewery. honey’s own kitchen crafts funky “bowls and bites” include tasty and sometimes spicy nibbles that are Caribbean-influenced.
