Pintxos, Paella and Cocktails at Letra House this March

Letra House is hosting the next instalment of its El Camino event series, with a Pintxos & Paella Party set for Sunday 29 March at the Kent Street venue. The Spanish restaurant and late-night wine bar will run the afternoon as a $95 set menu led by Culinary Director Scott McComas-Williams and Head Chef Brandon Jones.

Drinks remain flexible across the afternoon. Letra House’s wine list is available by the glass, alongside cocktails, vermouth, sangria, beer and non-alcoholic options. Signatures include the Negroni De La Casa with four pillars rare dry, strawberry, basil, white balsamic, sweet vermouth and campari; the Letra Martini with four pillars olive leaf, koji tomato distillate and rainwater dry madeira; and the Spritz De Letra with tromba tequila, yuzushu, salted passionfruit, chardonnay verjus and soda. The Cobble Cobble rounds things out with a sherry blend, spiced pineapple, citrus, honey and mint.

The menu begins with pintxos, the small bar snacks commonly served across northern Spain, particularly in the Basque region. After the opening snacks, the event moves into the venue’s courtyard where the team will cook paella outdoors. Two versions will be served. The Paella Negra offering a seafood base, and the Paella Mixta offering a meat base. Guests can choose one or try both.

The event follows the venue’s previous paella party and continues the El Camino series, which explores different Spanish food traditions through one-off events built around shared dishes and long Sunday lunches.
