On Enmore Road, where late nights tend to blur into early mornings, Ravenspur is leaning all the way into the after-hours crowd with a new weekly ritual that kicks in right when most venues start winding down.
From Friday, May 1, the bar will flip the switch at midnight – literally. Lights drop to red, “Coconut” by Harry Nilsson, rolls through the speakers, and the room shifts gears into what owner Taran Howard is calling the “Midnight Margarita Special.”
“Starting at midnight, we wanted to create a moment,” Howard says. “The lights shift, the music hits, and it becomes something a little transportive – a nod to that Practical Magic scene, but also to Midnight Special, RIP, which was such a cornerstone of Enmore Road nightlife.”
For one hour, from 12am to 1am, the bar will be pouring black margaritas at $12 – a late-night happy hour aimed squarely at hospitality workers, night owls, and anyone not quite ready to call it.
Once again Ravenspur taps into something Enmore Road has always done well: giving people a reason to stay out just a little longer.
