These are your awards so it’s really important that you have your say to make sure that the most deserving ten finalists are announced for each category. Voting will close 11.59pm (AEST) this coming Monday, 31st May.

The Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards for 2021 are underway. Voting is now open and we really want you to get involved. These awards are determined by your votes, so we want you to have your say. Voting closes 31 May (11.59PM AEST) so tell your staff and your hospo friends.
It’s with great excitement that today we can announce that two new brands have stepped up as the official sponsors of the 2021 Bartender Magazine Bartender of the Year competition – Hendrick’s and Monkey Shoulder and the winner of the competition will be flown to Scotland in 2022.

Damien Kos-Beckwith is the first ever bartender from Geelong to reach the lofty heights of the Top 8 in the Bartender of the Year competition sponsored by BACARDÍ & De Kuyper. Hailing from the 18th Amendment Bar, here Kos-Beckwith talks regional bars, rum and his plans for a podium finish in 2020.
