How To: Punch

As with any yarn involving the demon drink, an accurate account of Punch’s early life has long been washed away by the high tides of merriment and low tides of memory loss paired with the debilitating affects of hard living. Despite it’s sketchy past, interest in the lost art of Punch making is returning to bars the world over. Belgian Beer

Belgium, the home of the European Union, waffles, and damn good chocolate has a land area of only 30,528 km² – less than half that of Tasmania. I travelled to this fine city back in July 2010 – en route to the epic gathering of cocktailians that is The Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.

Feed-up with Feb-fast? Over October? Time to say bye to Dry July? Well you’re in luck as Parched March, Sydney’s only month-long celebration of bar culture is back – the perfect antidote to abstinence.
