Well Jameson promised that this year’s Bartenders Ball was going to be bigger than last year and they didn’t disappoint! There was live coopering demos — stuff set on fire, too — along with plenty of Jameson cocktails and picklebacks. Check out a few images from the night below.
It was an appropriately large evening to send off a bar that has had an inappropriate influence (in the best of ways) on bartenders around the country, and a fine way for Australian Bartender to celebrate its 150th issue. There was tequila, nudity, lay-backs, tequila, strippers, and then some more tequila. We’ve curated a few of the photos that were safe for publication in the gallery below.
Over September Australia was graced by the presence of the world’s foremost cocktail historian David Wondrich – the author of Imbibe! Mixxit organised two invite only sessions for lucky trade guests in both Sydney and Melbourne.
