Good times and late night drinkin’ eats? Well, Hello Sailor!

Not only has Hello Sailor been one of the more talked about Sydney bar openings of this year, it’s also lent its name to a verb (one that shouldn’t need much in the way of explanation). Indeed, thanks to Marco Faraone, Luke Redington and Mike Edkins it is now possible to go and get “sailor’d”.

Foley Lane

Foley Lane, just up the road from Shady Pines in Darlinghurst, is bringing all things Iberian to the area.

Hunky Dory Social Club

Creating quite a frenzy is this little number, a new multi-level venue in the heart of Sydney’s night life area. The Hunky Dory Social Club (HDSC) has been fully refurbished in a 1900s French décor style with vintage chandeliers to boot. Well worn chesterfield sofas to sink into, pressed metal ceilings and a copper finished bar provide a pretty sleek environment to enjoy a classic martini or a longneck of beer.

The Passage

The Passage, which is swelling the ranks of Darlinghurst bars, is the first bar venture by Mark Eggers and Andy Emerson and Ed Loveday who have both worked for Keystone hospitality for years.

Omerta, Sydney

Award winning sommelier Glen Davis and hatted chef Eugenio Maiale have joined forces to open this cosy wine bar and eatery on Victoria Road’s ever-growing little Italy.
