Grace the Establishment is the latest venture by the Trim Hospitality Group, the brains behind such venues as The Manse in north Adelaide. “We opened on new years eve just gone,” states Rob Wood, “and as we speak, I am rewriting the cocktail list to suit this Mediterranean style bar/restaurant.”

The cocktail list will include a range of ‘unusual’ classics and Sangria says Wood. “We also have a brilliant Sommelier Marcel Bellenger who has written yet another amazing wine list to compliment the talents of the kitchen staff. The food is tapas style with a range of fresh fish and meats.”

There is a slim list of beers available; Grolsch, Peroni and Asahi, and the $25 ‘pitchers’ would be a good bet for a group of 3 or more – they include the regulars like Pimms, Campari, Aperol and Rum. The wine list is short and punchy with a number of good examples. It would be hard to go past the Clare Valley’s, Tim Adams Shiraz and if you’re enjoying some fish for lunch of dinner then the Hugel Pino Blanc would be a nice accompaniment.

Of the new venue and the driving force behind it, Wood states; “Owners Matthew and Olivia Trim always have amazing ideas and I will be working closely with them to get the right concept.”
