It is with great saddest that the team here at Bartender magazine and 4Bars heard about the passing of Michael Edmonds last week.
Mick, as he was known amongst his friends, was one of the country’s finest bartenders having been placed in the Top Ten in the last two Bartender of the Year Competitions. Mick is pictured above with the rest of the Top Ten just prior to last year’s Bar Awards.
Mick has served at some of Australia’s best bars in both Melbourne and Brisbane including The Bowery, Blue Diamond and Siglo.
For those wishing to pay their respects a memorial service will be held on Monday 27th June, 10.00am at Boonah Anglican Church, 8 Church Street, Boonah, Queensland.
