Edison has definitely got the memo when it comes to good food to accompany your drinking — even though they’re all the way “up there” at Mona Vale on Sydney’s northern beaches. So while you’re sipping on a cocktail — you could take a dose of Penicillin, perhaps — you can also munch on bar snacks like popcorn, pretzels, or pistachio nuts. They’re into the sliders, too, and share plates of various meats make up the difference. It’s very much a small bar, the space being very just a corridor really— there’s just good drinks and food wedged into it.
It’s a welcome addition to the northern beaches drinking scene. Whilst there’s absolutely nothing wrong about a night out at the Mona, it’s always good to have options — small, tasty ones like this particularly.
