Tales of the Cocktail has announced the top four finalists in this year’s Spirited Awards.
There’s been some success for Australian bars with Melbourne’s Black Pearl up for the title of Best International Bar Team and, along with fellow Melbourne bar, Eau de Vie Melbourne, for Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar.
Sydney newcomer Hello Sailor impressed the judges, coming up with a top four finish in the Best New International Cocktail Bar category.
Australian bar personality Jason Crawley received a nomination for his passionate development of Crawley’s Imperial Shaker Machine, in the Best New Product category, while ex-pat Aussie Sam Ross’ new bar, Attaboy, garnered a nomination for Best New American Cocktail Bar.
The awards are held in New Orleans on July 19th, as part of the annual Tales of the Cocktail event.
