Here’s more Aussie craft gin to get on to

We love gin. So, too, does the public, if the range of gin-focused bars that have opened up in recent years are any guide.
And to stock the shelves of these gin bars — and, possibly yours too — there have been a number of Australian producers popping up of late.

Enter Settlers Gin, from the McLaren Vale Distilling Company. They’re producing two styles of gin, which are both made with a triple distilled neutral grape spirit, and flavoured with some uniquely Australian botanicals: saltbush, muntries berries and lemon myrtle join juniper in the mix along with some citrus. They’ve got the flagship Settlers Artisan Rare Dry Gin as one bottling, and another, the Settlers Artisan Rare Dry Gin Oak Aged, gets in on the vogue for gins that have seen a bit of wood.
