Hailing from the far North East of Scotland, off the Caithness coast, Stroma Malt Whisky Liqueur takes it name from the windswept Orcadian Isle. Stroma originates from the Norse meaning ‘island in the stream’ which also refers to the dangerous currents on the island’s shores, including the infamous ‘Swilkie’ whirlpool. Stroma’s lighthouse warns ships of these nearby powerful and dangerous currents.
The fine liqueur is a careful blend of award winning malt whiskies from Old Pulteney; a mix of lighter and more vigorous malt whiskies. Whilst Stroma Liqueur is smooth, sweet tasting and warming, like the island itself, it is also packed full of robust and rugged undertones. Guaranteed to appeal to the more discerning drinker, this unique liqueur can be served neat or over ice. Stroma Liqueur is packaged in a classic and unique shaped proprietary 500ml bottle with an embossed image of its trademark crashing waves and a gold foiled neck tag telling its brand story with accompanying tasting notes.
