Take a look inside new bar, Barrio Cellar

The team behind Barrio Chino in Sydney’s Kings Cross have branched out to the CBD, with their new underground bar, Barrio Cellar.

It’s on the old Spice Cellar site on Elizabeth Street at Martin Place, and they’ve got a nice and late 3am licence. That means you’ll be able to get your fix of their top notch Mexican food — and indulge in a agave spirits-focused drinks list — until late.

Expect cocktails like the Tommy’s Margarita, Rosita, and Paloma to make an appearance on the list, along with Mexican beer (and a smattering of Aussie craft drops, too) and a short and sharp wine list — though be warned when it comes to late night champagne drinking, their most expensive drop will cost you $990 (it is the 1996 Salon ‘S’ Blanc de Blanc from Le Mesnil, though).
