So may call it the world’s greatest hangover cure, others — perhaps of the bartending persuasion — the breakfast of champions. The Bloody Mary has a long history, and has regained a cult following over the last few years, and now Sydney has its very own bar dedicated to the Great Red Hope.

This new bar and diner is doing breakfast (as you might expect), and has been brought to life by Cinta Rockey.

“I started experimenting by making my own tomato juice,” she said, “with months spent tweaking the recipe in my home kitchen I am now 100% happy. I know this sets us apart from other places.”

They’ve got a ten-strong list of Bloody Marys (you can pick up a Caesar, too) and much like the American-influenced food on offer in this diner, the garnishes that accompany the Bloody Marys are something you’d expect from the land of the super-size — there’s bacon, prawns, and sliders among the garnishes.

And if you’ve got a hankering for a Spam Burger — Spam-cuisine is kind of a big deal in Hawaii, people — you can get one of them too.

Oh, and they’re open lunch and dinner, just in case you have the kind of hangover you can’t shake.
