Melbourne has a new bar that’s bottling cocktails from The Everleigh and serving them up in the dark “sexy, seedy glamour inspired by the timeless drinking dens of Los Angeles.”
Described as The Everleigh’s baby sister, Heartbreaker is a collaboration between The Everleigh’s Michael Madrusan and Melbourne bar veteran (and former Bartender of the Year) Sebastian Reaburn (ex-Vue de Monde & Lui Bar).
It’s definitely got a different vibe than its older sibling bar — cue the jukebox, people — and the emphasis is casual. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t expect top-notch bartenders and great drinks, though, it’s just going to come at you a little quicker and a little louder than at The Everleigh.
