To start Bar Week, catch these 9 veteran bartenders

Barber Shop

Sydney gin bar — and all-round good times place — The Barber Shop, will once again kick off the festivities for Sydney Bar Week this year on Saturday 19 September.

Their event, Veteran Bartenders with Vintage Cocktails, will see nine old dog bartenders shake the cobwebs off and hold court between 6pm and 9pm on a Saturday night (and in bed by 10pm).

There’ll be decades of top-notch banter on display, so don’t miss it — it’ll be coming at you quick and fast (even if they move a little slower than they used to.)

“The line up has been confirmed and we’ve got nine veterans with over 200 Years of bar experience combined,” said The Barber Shop’s Mike Enright. That’s a lot of Vodka Rickeys, people.
