Back in December, we wrote about about Perth’s Hippocampus Metropolitan Distillery vodka. Well, in a logical next step, they’ve just released the first batch of their brand new gin.
Hippocampus Gin comes in at 41.5% ABV and is made in small batches, with 10 botanicals in the mix. The botanicals are macerated overnight to ensure there’s plenty of flavour, then distilled in their copper pot still — it creates a balanced gin, with a smooth mouth feel and a lasting finish.
