Here’s a look inside the swish new digs at Chapel St bar, Roc’s Jam Factory.

The bar is named for the founder of Village Roadshow, Roc Kirby, and is located in South Yarra inside the Jam Factory complex.

Cocktails are front and centre here, and the cocktail list is sectioned up into five parts: Sweet, Bitter, Sour, Dry, and Strong. The list includes classics — like the Flame of Love Martini — and variations on classics, as well as some signature creations.

The bar is lead by bar manager Anthony Gardik.

“We’ve built an escape, tailored for those searching for a sophisticated environment to enjoy quality food and drink, we’re here to accommodate and make you feel at ease,” Gardik said.

They’ve also got a section for what they’re terming experiences: the idea here is to give guests an in-depth look at a spirit. So for instance, they’ve got a in depth look at Gin and Tonics — same too for whiskey, and a beer tasting exploring tastes in the beer world.
