Sydney Bar Week is fast approaching — it all kicks off this weekend on Saturday the 17th of September — and you’re going to have the chance to hear from a bunch of international drinks industry legends over those four days.

One such person is the inimitable Tomas Estes. Seats at his session are going fast — there’s just 16 seats left — so get your RSVP in now by emailing Andy Kerrsmith on andy@vanguardluxurybrands.com ASAP.

Estes has been a tequila ambassador to Europe, set up Cafe Pacifico over there, has written a highly-valued and much sought-after book, called The Tequila Ambassador, and has poured his heart and soul into his own tequila, Tequila Ocho, which he makes with the influential Camarena family.

And, lucky for you, he’ll be telling tales of his time in Tequila at this session on Tuesday the 20th at Big Poppa’s. Titled Tequila and Stories from South of the Border, it’s a glimpse into the life of Estes and his one of a kind view on the world, and of course, tequila. He’s an entertaining speaker we’ve always enjoyed listening to, and we’re sure you will too.
