The annual Bartenders Agave Brunch at Tio’s has become one of the best attended events at Sydney Bar Week over the last couple of years, and it’s back again on Sunday the 16th of September this year.
The Sunday of Bar Week this year is set to be the biggest Sunday at Bar Week ever, so you want to get yourself sorted with a healthy brunch — and that’s just what the Tio’s Cerveceria legends have lined up for you.
“Drinks will be from the brain of creative wunderkind Jeremy Blackmore and supported by Alipus Mezcal, Corazon Tequila and Altos Tequila,” says co-owner Alex Dowd. “Think breakfast cocktails – a tweaked Paloma, breakfast juice and Bloody Mary’s.”
And you can expect a delicious banquet-style brunch in between your agave staples.
“Toby Wilson (@ghostboycantina) is back on the pans serving up eggs, birria and the necessary sides as we plate it up banquet style,” Dowd says.
It’s always a great way to kickstart the day, as you catch up with old friends from right around the country — and given the convivial properties of agave spirits, we expect you’re going to make some new pals, too.
