Mjølner’s To The Hilt recipe

This akvavit it-influenced recipe comes courtesy of Alissa Gabriel from Sydney viking-inspired restaurant and bar, Mjølner.

To The Hilt

  • 45 ml The West Winds Gin The Sabre
  • 15 ml aquavit
  • 10 ml meadowsweet Noilly Prat vermouth*
  • 1 barspoon caper berry brine
  1. Stir down all ingredients and straining a chilled coupette.
  2. Garnish with a caper berry.

*For the meadowsweet vermouth: Infuse 700ml Noily Prat Dry vermouth with 50g of meadowsweet, a perennial herb you can pick up from online retailers like herbcottage.com.au. Adapted from a recipe by Alissa Gabriel at Mjolner Sydney.
