Campari Australia has sold its sole Australian manufacturing site in Derrimut, Victoria, to Garage Beverages Manufacturing. Agreements have been signed, and the sale is targeted for completion towards mid-2025.
Campari Australia managing director, Jacopo Borsa, said the sale was part of a broader strategy to focus the business on the sale and marketing of Campari’s iconic brands.
“We are pleased to partner with Garage Beverages, a local manufacturer with extensive manufacturing experience and a strong commitment to excellence,” Borsa said.
“We look forward to working with Garage Beverages over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.”
As part of the agreements, Garage Beverages will continue the manufacturing of Campari’s ready to drink products, including Wild Turkey, Skyy Vodka, and Espolòn Tequila, at the site.
The Derrimut site was Campari’s only production facility in Australia, although it maintains offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.
Garage Beverages is a privately owned Australian business that provides beverage contract packing, canning, and bottling services for a range of beverages. The company’s main facility is in Truganina, Victoria – just around the corner from the Derrimut site.
