Brisbane’s award-winning cocktail bar Savile Row – is blending couture and cocktails with its new Volume 8 menu, launching this Saturday. The bar pays tribute to London’s legendary Savile Row, a street known for its bespoke tailoring. The new menu celebrates the idea of weaving heritage and the bar’s identity into every sip.
Named in honour of the bar’s eighth year, Volume 8 is a commemoration of Savile Row’s tailoring houses, both historic and contemporary. Led by Bar Manager Leah Dunnigan – the team has crafted 16 cocktails, each inspired by a specific suit, tailor, or client from the iconic London strip.
Standouts include The Foxtail, a nod to Gormley & Gamble, the trailblazing women-led tailoring house. “It captures their fearless balance of sharp structure and feminine nuance,” says Dunnigan. “Singleton Malt Masters delivers smooth richness, Aperol adds a vibrant, bittersweet edge, and an effervescent kick brings it to life.”
Equally bold is the Pop Stitch, inspired by Ozwald Boateng’s daring, colourful designs. “With Hendrick’s gin, rhubarb and rose jelly, and some unexpected surprises, it’s a bold, textured sip that’s felt as much as it’s seen,” Dunnigan said.
From military dressmakers to modern pioneers reshaping tradition, each cocktail is thoughtfully layered, balanced, and finished with flair.
