Love Tilly Devine will shine a spotlight on one of Beaujolais’ most quietly acclaimed producers for its next Tilly Takeover. On 2 July, the Darlinghurst venue will host Beaujolais Night, featuring wines from fifth-generation vigneron, Yohan Lardy.
Lardy, known for working with old vines and natural winemaking techniques, has gained international attention in recent years. Farming organically across Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie and Chénas, he employs hand-and-horse ploughing, spontaneous fermentation, and whole-bunch vinification to produce bold, site-driven wines.
From 6pm, patrons will be able to explore a flight of six wines, including the Beaujolais-Villages Blanc ‘Les Bruyères’, the refined Moulin-à-Vent ‘Les Michelons’, and the Fleurie ‘Le Vivier’. Wines will be available by the glass, bottle or as a curated flight.
To match, the kitchen will offer its regular menu along with a one-night-only addition – a pork and duck terrine with sourdough and pickles, prepared by Letra House chefs Brandon Jones and Peter Fiander.
Beaujolais Night begins at 6pm. Bookings are recommended.
