Goros turns 11 with Konbini style Birthday celebration

Sydney’s Goros, is turning 11, and to celebrate the Surry Hills venue will transform into a Konbini-style space, from 5 November to 6 December – celebrating Japanese convenience culture with a month of curated cocktails, games, and giveaways.

The headline event on 7 November promises well priced Kirin Hyoketsu schooners, Hyoketsu Slushies, DJs, dancing, and celebration.

The food offerings include a Konbini-inspired menu featuring: Tuna Onigiri, Yakisoba-Pan, Fried Prawn (aka Noodle Sando) and Bento Boxes packed with Karaage, Pork Katsu, or Teriyaki Tofu, and to finish it off a strawberry sando makes its debut – Japan’s soft, sweet, strawberry-filled answer to the midnight munchies.

The drinks list is shaken up with sake, yuzu, and cold brews for a caffeinated kick. Expect playful concoctions like the Mando Sando, Roba Soda, and the Pocari Pine Slushie.

Throughout the takeover, every ordered Hyoketsu slushie comes with a scratch card, giving patrons a shot at instant prizes and a mystery surprises.
