Bacardi are hosting the Official Sydney BarShow Week launch party for 2010 and they have their own cause for celebration this year as well. It has been 100 years since the Daiquiri was exported from its Cuban shores and gained new found fame in barrooms the world over.
In true Bacardi style, this exclusive party will celebrate the Bacardi Daiquiri journey – all while tipping its hat to the Cuba of yesteryear with a ‘period’ themed celebration. For those lucky guests who have been invited to this once in a lifetime party you are encouraged to come dressed in early 1900’s fashion attire.
So ladies, pull out your ‘flapper’ dresses and pearls and gents it might be time to strap on some braces because there is a limited edition, centenary bottle of Bacardi up for grabs for the best dressed.
