Nestled down in Melbourne and with a host of other cool little bars and hang-outs close by, Kid Boston is proving to be a popular addition to the Windsor area. Inside there’s a lot of funky features, and lime green bar stools, slick dark tiles, a well stocked back-bar and plenty of wood to perch are just a few to mention. ‘Bar & Dine’ is the moniker they’ve tabbed to the name, and it rings true with a well thought out list of menu offerings, such as: multiple Bellini cocktails (white pech & pomegranate, pear & pistachio and mango & cocnut) all $13, ‘Sours & Fixers’, ‘High Ballers’ if you’re in a rush – this includes a Char-grilled Pineapple Julep – and a full page of Classics. The spirits list is admirably stocked, and well laid on the menu, with some noticeable favourites: Lagavulin16, Angostura 1919, Rittenhouse 100% Rye and the obligatory Talisker 10, On the food front think Buffalo Wings (13), Beer Hanger Steak ($17), Grilled Chilli Octopus ($14) and Citrus Cured Salmon ($15).
