This is the first venture into venue ownership by Luke O’Donohoe and Zac Davis, however both have extensive hospitality backgrounds including stints at ivy, Establishment, Hotel CBD, and the Beresford. Tipple Bar is their chance to have total control, and the theme they’re spruiking is a blend of old world charm and service with new age pop. The food menu is pretty well put together, what’s even more attractive is the specialty bar menu that ranges between $6-$22. Haloumi fritters (10), Tipple beef slider with jalapeno, cheese, lettuce, tomato and wasabi (14) or a full Antipasto plate to share (22) will all keep the hunger at bay while you such down a beer or wine.
