Lillet Reserve Jean de Lillet is not my lover

It’s just some aromatised wine that I wish I used to know.

Apologies, but we couldn’t resist the pun. This special drop might not make its way out to Australian shores in any great quantity, but you should be able to find it internationally online.

It’s worth seeking out. The product of a single vintage, the Lillet Reserve Jean de Lilllet 2009 takes top Bordeaux wine and from that vintage and blends it with top orange liqueur, bitter oranges, and quinine. And it’s built to last — they recommend ageing for up to 15 years.
