We’ve tracked the growth of tapas bars that do real, proper pintxos across a few states now, and Perth is getting in on the act with its first proper taste of the San Sebastian specialty, with Wolf Lane’s Bar de Halcyon.
“Following a business trip to Europe a few years ago, my business partner, Linda Fry and I made the decision to open Perth’s first pintxos bar,” said director David Heaton. “We wanted to create a destination that caters for everything from a coffee fix first thing in the morning to lunch and evening cocktails.”
They had industry hard man Tim Wastell on board before open, so the drinks should be sharp and well worth checking out.
