Australia’s longest-running — and toughest — test of bartending ability is back again in 2014.

Taking place again during Sydney Bar Week, Australian Bartender is proud to announce that once again Havana Club will be the competition’s major sponsor.

“Havana Club Australia is proud to be the sponsor of Australian Bartender of the Year 2014. Havana Club is a favourite of Australian bartenders, it gives us great pleasure and excitement to be a part of the highly anticipated and iconic Bartender of the Year,” said Havana Club ambassador, Karel ‘Papi’ Reyes.

“In the lead up to Bartender of the Year, I’ll be touring around the country hosting Cuban cocktail master classes to prepare you for the competition. In addition to being awarded Bartender of the Year, a trip to the home of Havana Club, Cuba will be awarded to the winner,” he said.
