Take a look at these nicely designed cocktail prints, from Nick Barclay Designs. We’re somewhat familiar with Barclay’s work — he’s previously worked at Australian Bartender as a designer.
“My first job when I arrived in Australia was working on Australian Bartender magazine, and it was while working there I was introduced to the Negroni,” he said. “This quickly became my favourite drink and was the inspiration behind the prints. Most people who drink cocktails don’t really know what goes into them so I thought if I broke the cocktails down into blocks of colour with each block being a graphical representation of the proportion of each ingredient. I then used the shape of the glassware the drink is served in as the overall shape for the image.”
