Here’s a unique beer festival. The Toxteth Hotel has teamed up with Six String Brewing to hold their inaugural Real Ale Invitational, this September on the 26th.
It’s a festival celebrating cask ale, and they’ve invited a dozen Australian breweries to produce a cask conditioned ale for the day, with all proceeds from the event being donated to the Pink Boots Society.
The Pink Boots Society aims to empower female beer professionals and help their careers through education.
The breweries that are participating on the day are Six String, Young Henry’s, New England, Batch, Wayward, 4 Pines, Two Birds, 3 Ravens, Pikes, and Newstead. The Pink Boots Society and a wildcard home brewer will also contribute a cask to proceedings.
The event will run from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday the 26th of September at The Toxteth, 345 Glebe Point Road, Glebe. Visit thetoxteth.com.au for more info.
