Yes we know, Sydney Bar Week is a great time for parties and getting raucous — thing is, it’s also great for getting yourself an education, or even to just hear some interesting ideas from smart, passionate people in our industry.
Luckily there’ll be plenty of that in play come Bar Week (September 17 — 20), and one of the great sessions we have lined up in from the guys behind the Sydney Academy of Bartenders.
Called the Academy of Bartenders Conference, and held in association with Australian Bartender, there’s a great lineup of speakers (who will be revealed soon — stay tuned) speaking to some interesting and controversial topics. The event is held on the Tuesday of Bar Week, and graciously hosted by the kind folks at Grain at the Four Seasons in the city.
